Welcome to the Baekwoon Martial Arts site. We appreciate the opportunity to serve and help you reach a new level of success for yourself and your family. Located in Naperville next to the Ogden 6 Theaters, Baekwoon Martial Arts was established 6 years ago by Sensei Jeremy Talbott, a US Air Force veteran and 5x American Karate Association National Champion and his two sons Sensei Sebastian Talbott, and Sensei Elijah Talbott, who are also national champions and currently serve in the US Marine reserves. The school started out in Life Time Fitness in Warrenville, Il where they taught a small class of 3 students. Within a year they established several successful martial art programs for all ages as well and started their first martial art competition team which has produced multiple national and regional champions. In 2016 they opened their first commercial school with the goal of developing students into positive leaders in their community.
Our Li’l Tigers karate program, for ages 4 to 5 years old, focuses on the development of the students coordination, motor skills, listening skills and safety awareness skills through a variety of fun energetic drills and “karate” games. In our Jr. Tigers karate program, for ages 6 to 14 years old, we guide students into developing more positive habits and establishing more discipline, respect and self-esteem while at the same time learning goal setting and leadership skills. Our kids also develop a stronger confidence, self-defense and self-awareness mindset that helps protect against bullying and develop a code of honor to help protect others from bullying as well. The Teen/Adult class, for ages 13 years and older, also builds respect, honor, confidence and leadership skills while providing an alternative way to get fit, relieve stress and learn practical self-defense skills.
All classes are taught with one thing in mind, to help the student reach a new level of success and take that motivation and positive attitude outside of the dojo and apply it to their everyday life. We believe our success is grounded in the success of our students.
